Lesnar competing at UFC 200 marked one of the rare occasions when WWE's name became currency in the mainstream sporting media. His decisive success will only continue the trend.

Whilst the press is abuzz over Brock, the company needs to take every opportunity to plug the upcoming brand split. Though I can absolutely guarantee in advance that this won't happen, perhaps the greatest way of all to really promote a newly refreshed SmackDown is to have Lesnar make his long-awaited return on the rebooted show.

Don't hold your breath - but can you imagine the level of interest it would drive in the relocated blue brand? Whilst Lesnar's contract practically stipulates he cannot function as the face of either show, keeping him exclusive to SmackDown in the wake of his highly publicised conquest could be enough to give the program that initial boost it needs.
