Along with The Forgotten Sons, this is another tag team that have developed well in the past year. The popular duo has been a favourite with the Full Sail University crowd for quite some time now.
The pair has also fought in Evolve where they once won the Evolve Tag Team Championship. WWE uses their relationship with Evolve to help lend star power, but is also used to help develop acts such as these.
Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have had little success so far in their NXT career. Along with 50/50 booking, the team have competed in The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic twice, but never made it to the final. The team have also only had a handful of title matches, never coming out as champions.
The tide is changing for the double act however.
The Street Profits have flirted with the top of the division in recent weeks, but have come up short against The Viking Raiders. However, those defeats have been offset by numerous entertaining backstage segments which have helped develop the characters.
With the NXT Tag Team Champions moved up to the main roster, we will soon need to crown new champs. This group are not only going to be in the mix, but could even be considered favourites.
