8 Wrestlers Who Can't Hide Their Frustration RIGHT NOW

6. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair isn't the same (brilliant) performer she was in 2018.

Her work has noticeably deteriorated. She seems to botch the moonsault feint moonsault spot every single time and wrestled precisely one match that one could call an unqualified "banger" in 2021. That was against Rhea Ripley at Money In The Bank. Even then, it felt like a display of defiance more than professionalism. Beyond toiling through her matches most weeks, Charlotte has cut a disinterested figure in several segments, clearly operating in aloof autopilot in her mini programme with Toni Storm. Her partner has infamously tweeted "F*ck WWE!"

She's hardly at home putting it over in heated arguments.

"I can often appear with a very cold temper on TV," she said, tellingly, to TV Insider back in March. She knows that the script damns her more often than not, and this frustration was most evident during the infamous belt handover on the October 22 SmackDown. She looked disgusted at the putrid booking and refused to sell that even her fictional character might endorse the stupidity that made her title look totally meaningless.

Charlotte's frustration is palpable in general. When her character throws pies in the faces of her opponents, who promptly f*ck off because it's so sh*tty, who can blame her?
