Of all of the layoffs to emanate from WWE's recent cuts, ostensibly relating to the current global situation, one of the least surprising was that of No Way Jose.

Jose, real name Levis Valenzuela, signed with WWE in 2015, debuting in NXT the following year, before making his first appearance on the main roster on the night after Wrestlemania 34.

Jose's over the top dancing gimmick, complete with obnoxious entourage was eerily similar to Adam Rose and his Rosebuds from just a few years prior, and was always destined to see him resigned to being an enhancement talent once the initial hype surrounding his arrival had subsided.

So, upon Valenzuela's recent release its not exactly surprising that he has been quick to distance himself from the gimmick that truthfully was nothing more than a flavour of the month. In a recent interview, Valenzuela revealed that he is changing up his approach in his future endeavours and fans will see a much more aggressive side to him.
