8 Wrestlers Who Got KNOCKED OUT (... & Still Finished Matches)

2. Liv Morgan

There's a point during the September 24th 2018 Raw match between Natalya and The Bella Twins and The Riott Squad where Brie Bella hits a running knee on Ruby Riott that's so impressive-looking that people temporarily - and somewhat sarcastically - compared her to Kenny Omega. 'The Cleaner' was at this point pretty much the consensus best wrestler in the world, was making his case on a match-by-match basis as one of the best wrestlers ever, and had, with the V-Trigger, developed a strike with an impact so frightening-looking that it's frankly insulting anybody ever dared question his grip on the protection of kayfabe just because he once worked a competitive match with a tweenager.

Anyway, while the exclamation of "Brie Mode" doesn't exactly inspire the same panic as Omega pointing the gun finger and pulling the trigger, Liv Morgan knew as she watched, bleary-eyed from the apron, just how hard the younger of the siblings could hit. Mere minutes earlier, she'd been concussed by a flush kick full force in the face. At the time, Fightful's reporting used the words "on auto-pilot" to describe how she was through the rest of the contest. Riott and fellow stablemate Sarah Logan were visibly concerned for Morgan, who, still loopy in the immediate aftermath, noted that she couldn't recall what happened or much else about the contest.

The pair played up to it in a rematch a few weeks later, featuring Ronda Rousey in the place of Natalya on the babyface side. Bella lined Morgan up in the same spot as the original attack, but the future multi-time Women's Champion used her PTSD flashbacks to inform a swift duck. 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' looked on from the apron, unaware that a heel turn from the sisters was incoming ahead of Evolution 2018's blockbuster main event with Nikki. She should have known the sisters were prone to kill-shots.
