8 Wrestlers Who Had A Blood Feud With Shawn Michaels
2. Chris Candido
Though Shawn's feud with Bret Hart may be the most well-known amongst WWE fans, when it comes to wrestlers who had the most reasons to legitimately despise the Heartbreak Kid, few had as much of a compelling case as Chris Candido.
Candido and his girlfriend Sunny were signed by WWE in 1995 after a successful stint in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Unfortunately, this was also the time when the Kliq was at the peak of its power, and Michaels' backstage antics were most nefarious.
Michaels and Sunny embarked on a nearly year-long affair behind Candido's back, with Michaels reportedly having no problem dropping not-so-subtle hints about his relationship with Sunny. Candido would leave WWE just a year later before passing away in 2005.
Bam Bam Bigelow has since stated that both Sunny's infidelities, and the way Chris was treated by the Kliq, left Candido in a depressed state and that the former Bodydonna had even contemplated suicide over the situation.
