Michael Hayes made a lot of statements that were wide of the mark during the second season of WWE’s Unreal, and his take on Chelsea Green could be the most incorrect of them all. Hayes suggested that Chelsea couldn’t be a World Champion and was on the roster only to make other stars look good. 

Despite that, Chelsea's popularity and consistency suggest that she's going turn that opinion on its head and grab every brass ring she lays her eyes on.

The Saudi crowd was deathly quiet for way too much of the women’s Royal Rumble, but they greeted Chelsea Green like a megastar. Green's accomplice, Alba Fyre, crouching down on the outside to make sure her leader’s feet didn’t touch the ground, was the comedy spot of the night.

No matter where WWE goes around the world, Chelsea Green always gets a reaction.

She tried to align herself with The Judgment Day upon entering the Rumble, and it was an intriguing proposition, both in the moment and as a future concept. What's next for Green in terms of story and progression may be unclear, but what's certain is that people are invested in her. 2026 should not see her treading water and being used solely as comic relief.
