8 Wrestlers Who NEED A Big Push After WWE Royal Rumble 2026
3. Royce Keys
The artist formerly known as Powerhouse Hobbs was always pretty popular with the AEW sickos, but never quite broke through the glass ceiling of Tony Khan’s midcard. Arriving at the Royal Rumble with his old name coming up on screens before giving way to his new WWE moniker of Royce Keys, he had several moments that pointed to a bright future during his debut.
Royce Keys may take some getting used to as a name, but his grizzled facial mannerisms and imposing frame had instant recognizable impact. Going blow-for-blow with a former World Champion in Damian Priest before eliminating him, then embracing a stare down with his former AEW colleague Cody Rhodes, felt like big moments for Keys, who was making his first impression on a lot of WWE’s audience.
The current WWE roster is stacked with talent, and standing out in this field is going to take some doing (ask Rusev, Malakai Black, et al), but Royce's dominant display suggests that WWE is willing to give him his shot.
He may have been eliminated by The Vision, but taking out Logan Paul with a giant slam and pulling down the straps of his singlet to square off with Bronson Reed suggests there is good stuff to come, and that Royce Keys is a man with a point to prove.
