8 Wrestlers Who Performed Into Their 50s
3. Sting
Sting's long-awaited turn in WWE didn't go the way most fans hoped, but if you watched TNA (and statistically, you probably didn't) you'll know that his career continued to flourish right up until his mid 50s.
Maybe it was the fact he only competed sporadically, maybe it was the face-paint, but The Icon never really looked his age in the ring, putting on more than serviceable matches with the likes of Samoa Joe and AJ Styles despite having more years on the clock than both of them combined (again, my maths).
He even managed to maintain a level of dignified professionalism when he faced Jeff Hardy in that match at Victory Road 2011, and that pretty much summed up the latter part of Sting's career: a selfless performer on whom TNA could always rely.
