8 Wrestlers Who Surprisingly Never Held WWE Gold

7. Torrie Wilson

Torrie was better known for her appearances in Playboy than she was for her wrestling ability, and - if we're completely honest - she'd probably struggle to get by in today's WWE, where female performers are now expected to put on great matches (and frequently do).

That being said, you could be forgiven for thinking she was a little unfortunate not to have held the Women's Championship at least once when you cast an eye down the list of divas to have won gold over the years. Stephanie McMahon, a 75-year-old Fabulous Moolah, Kelly Kelly, Maryse, and Eve Torres were certainly no better than Torrie between the ropes - and a couple of them gave fewer years to WWE than the seven she spent with the company between 2001 and 2008.

Which is not to say that she deserved a title reign exactly, just that it's somewhat surprising WWE never gave her one. But then again, she was largely confined to SmackDown, which didn't really have its own women's division until after she hung up her boots.
