8 Wrestlers You Forgot Still Work For WWE In 2019

3. The Cólons

The Big Show Missing

Here's an absolutely spectacular stat: beyond filling out a pair of battle royals, The Cólons have wrestled just one televised match for WWE since November 2017, an obviously losing effort in a tag team triple threat against The Bar on SmackDown last August. Since then, they've appeared in just a handful of dark matches and a couple of live shows.

WWE's roster is more bloated than ever, and given the emerging competition, it's perhaps understandable that they want to hold onto as much talent as possible (even if ludicrously overpriced deals for perennial preliminary performers isn't). But precisely what's the point of Epico and Primo in this company if they aren't even being used? Are they simply being retained as an in-house favour to Carlos Cólon? And if so, where's Carlito? The Shining Stars went supernova long ago.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
