8 Wrestlers You Forgot Still Work For WWE In 2019

2. Heath Slater

The Big Show Missing
WWE

Former 'One Man Band' and occasional ref Heath Slater is a curio in that he's managed to win a WWE championship in 2019 and yet remain entirely inconspicuous. On the 24 June episode of Raw, Slater emerged from the background stramash to claim R-Truth 24/7 Championship - but was deposed just seconds later, and was swiftly returned to anonymity.

Since tag partner Rhyno oddly turned down one of WWE's ludicrous new bumper deals to appear in Impact, Slater has become nothing more than a resource for every time his employees need 51 warm bodies to appease a Saudi prince. Other than his brief title reign last month and the Main Event black hole, WWE's destitute dad has only been seen on TV as part of the crowd in WrestleMania and Super Showdown's battle royals.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
