8 Wrestling Statistics That Will Blow Your Mind

8. Kane And The Undertaker Have Competed In Most PPV Bouts

Many fans probably suspect a longtime veteran of the ring and frequent competitor inside it to hold this record. Quite frankly, they€™d be right. However, the specific person may be a bit shocking. Surely, most fans suspect someone like Triple H, John Cena, or the Undertaker. All three men have been on top of the WWE at one time or another, and as such, have competed in a plethora of pay-per-view matches. However, none of the aforementioned men hold the current record for most PPV appearances in the WWE. While they all come close -- in fact, they fill out the second, third, and fourth place positions -- none of them have been able to catch the leader. Somewhat surprisingly, Kane has competed in the highest number of WWE PPV matches with 161 contests. The Undertaker is just two bouts behind, with 159 appearances -- although his chances of catching his €œbrother€ are likely gone with his imminent retirement. Triple H is just one appearance shy of the Undertaker€™s number, while John Cena has competed on 129 PPVs -- with that number sure to rise. Still, the fact remains, that Kane -- including his time as Isaac Yankem and the Fake Diesel -- has appeared on the most WWE PPV events. Furthermore, this isn€™t the last time you€™ll see the Big Red Machine appear on this list.
