8 Wrestling Statistics That Will Blow Your Mind

3. Kane Has Spent Over 15 Hours Competing In The Royal Rumble

The WWE€™s annual Royal Rumble contest is a marathon compared to typical wrestling encounters, especially in today€™s day and age. Now, it€™s rare for a television match to last longer than 15 or 20 minutes. Meanwhile, PPV contests rarely go over a half hour. The Rumble, on the other hand, typically lasts around 60 minutes, due to its design and setup. While there have only been 22 different men to leave the Rumble victorious, there have been countless other superstars that have competed in the prestigious event throughout its 27 years in existence. Furthermore, there are a great number of competitors who have competed in multiple incarnations of the yearly event. This leads to an extremely long period of time spent inside the squared circle, when each appearance is combined. Despite never winning a single Royal Rumble match, Kane -- in his various incarnations, also including his time as Isaac Yankem and the Fake Diesel -- has spent the most amount of time inside the ring during these contests. Altogether, the Big Red Machine, has spent 934 minutes and 11 seconds competing in the Rumble. That€™s over 15 hours! The only other superstar to come close to Kane€™s record is Shawn Michaels -- he€™s spent 713 minutes and 56 seconds in the Rumble.
