8 Wrestling Statistics That Will Blow Your Mind

2. Rick Steiner Has The Highest Ever Win Percentage In WWE

When one thinks of highly successful WWE superstars, a group of names immediately come to mind. Wrestlers like Triple H, the Rock, Steve Austin, the Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, and Bruno Sammartino are some of the standouts from WWE€™s history, among others. However, when discussing a win percentage statistic, it€™s not about how long someone was champion or how many years they were in the company. Instead, it€™s simply about how many matches did they win out of how many bouts they competed in. So, keeping that in mind, who do you think has the greatest win percentage in the entire history of the WWE? Bruno Sammartino was WWWF Champion for over 11 years, so obviously, he couldn€™t have lost too many times. But it€™s not Bruno. Newcomer Rusev has been a dominating force on WWE television, holding an undefeated streak in singles competition. But Rusev doesn€™t hold the record either. So, who has the highest win percentage in televised matches in WWE€™s history? Rick Steiner. Yes, you read that correctly. The Dog-Faced Gremlin has the highest win percentage out of any superstar, past or present. Rick€™s impressive stat is likely helped by the fact that he spent just a little over a year in the Federation. In that time, he and his brother Scott were a dominating force in the tag team division. So, why is Scott€™s percentage not nearly as impressive? Hiss later run with the company, as Big Poppa Pump -- from 2002 to 2004 -- affected his stats, as he was not booked as strongly as he and his brother were in the early €˜90s. Rick was victorious in just 56 matches while in the Federation. However, he only competed in 61 contests. His winning stat is 91.0714%. Rick beat out Tom Zenk, Adam Rose, Ultimate Warrior, and Rusev, who round out the rest of the Top 5, respectively.
