When Stephanie McMahon introduced the world to a new Divas Division earlier this year, many took that as a sign of her possibly taking on a GM type role to give their matches some direction and an Authority figure to potentially rally against (something which has actually been the focal point of WWE programming with everyone from Daniel Bryan to Seth Rollins for a fair few years now). That clearly didn't happen, so why not have Vickie Guerrero take on such a role? Admittedly, it appears as she's yet another woman who has quite happily moved on from her WWE days, but plenty of Superstars and Divas have been tempted back over the years, so there's no real reason to believe Vickie wouldn't consider doing the same with a new gimmick which turns her into the one running the Divas Division on TV. Other than the Divas title or WWE Creative's beloved "All women are crazy!" trope, the Revolution has been very weak in terms of storytelling. Putting someone as entertaining as Vickie in a powerful position not only goes a long way in legitimising this division as an important entity in its own right, but also opens the door to some different and fresh stories, and those are desperately needed right now.
