8 WWE Dropouts Who Revived Their Careers

5. Brodie Lee

Ricochet
AEW

A real wrestler's wrestler, the passing of Jonathan Huber is one of the most emotionally distressing things to have happened in recent years. A man revered for his work in Chikara before establishing himself as Luke Harper as part of The Wyatt Family in WWE, Huber was impressive everywhere he went, but it was his work in AEW as 'The Exalted One' Brodie Lee that is perhaps the most enduring.

The Dark Order was a fun (if limited) group that felt the full force of Lee's presence, as they rose to be one of the most loved factions in AEW history during their period with Mr. Brodie. Squashing Cody Rhodes like a bug to win the TNT Championship, his matches with Jon Moxley, and his loss in his final in-ring performance to Cody in a Dog Collar Match were all nothing short of sensational.

Passing away of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, AEW's tribute to Brodie Lee is arguably the greatest achievement in company history. Treating such a tragic moment with grace and dignity, it was a fitting tribute to a man who reestablished himself at the top of the business after leaving WWE.
