2. John Cena (C) Vs Rusev - US Title - Russian Chain Match
Cena versus Rusev in a chain match could be hit or miss. There's the potential there for this to be a really great brawl, but it could also end up hampered by WWE's PG rules. A chain match without blood or headshots is an odd one. But Cena has a history of pulling things like this out of the bag, he could end up having one hell of a contest. Rusev has also been impressive in the last few months, displaying a good range of athleticism in addition to his hard hitting brawling. There's a lot of directions they could go in with the finish. A Lana face turn could be coming, so some sort of involvement is a distinct possibility. Perhaps she'll inadvertently assist Cena the win. A win for Rusev would make sense in that he's got a good future, but he's really ran his course as US champ. Cena in contrast is proving comfortable in the spot and his US Title invitationals are a fun part of Raw. Cena getting the win here makes sense to end the feud. He'll use the chain to drag Rusev to the four corners and take the victory. Winner: John Cena
