Kai En Tai is another "but I remember them!" name which appears on our list. "Taka Michinoku and Sho Funaki!", you might even be thinking. However, much like the Nation of Domination before them, it's the original iteration of Kai En Tai to which we refer. When they first appeared in the WWF under the name of "Club Kamikaze," the quickly rebranded Kai En Tai consisted of Dick Togo, Mens Teioh, and the aforementioned Funaki, who were accompanied by their manager, Yamaguchi-San. They would soon be rejoined by Taka Michinoku (who was a part of the group in Japan before departing for WWF ahead of the rest), who turned on Val Venis during one of the stable's few memorable stories. The angle didn't last long, though, as once Venis declared that making good with Yamaguchi-San's wife (who was also Michinoku's sister) was more trouble than it was worth, the two sides went on about their respective business. Unfortunately for everyone in Kai En Tai but Michinoku and Funaki, business just wasn't that good. One small caveat to this entry: If you follow pro wrestling in Japan, then Kai En Tai might be a bit less forgettable, as they have had reunions a few times over the years.
