Although Hell in a Cell has been promoted as having 'three main events', we all know that's not possible. Of the three 'main events', the main main event is the first ever all-female Hell in a Cell bout between Charlotte and Sasha. That said, the big question aside from its outcome is: will it go on last?

It's really difficult to say. It'd be quite the statement, and in her hometown of Boston, it'd make a lot of sense to put Sasha on last. But I'm leaning towards no, for two reasons. Firstly, it might be difficult for such a historic match to live up to the over-hyped expectations if it has to follow two similar HIAC matches on the same evening. Secondly, when WWE do put women in the main event of one of their pay-per-views, they'll be sure to promote the absolute living sh*te out of it in advance, as opposed to the flip-flopping that has occurred this time around. It's almost as if the company had been putting out feelers to see what the general reception to such an idea would be.

Anyway, the result of the match? It's a home banker, for sure, making Sasha the fourth champion to retain on the night.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
