8 WWE Matches That Should Have Meant Way More

7. Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 32)

Brock Lesnar Dean Ambrose WrestleMania 32

A mere seven months after he had dismantled Dean Ambrose like a Wrestling Challenge jobber, Brock Lesnar was himself losing in less than 90 seconds to part-timer Bill Goldberg at Survivor Series. Did WWE really think this was the ideal way to prepare Ambrose for a WWE Title reign that coming Summer? Apparently so.

There was money in the reckless violence of Ambrose going up against the machine-like wrestling might of Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. Think back to those segments during which Terry Funk and Mick Foley endorsed Dean as a hardcore hero in waiting, then contrast them with the one-sided beating he received come show time from Brock.

Lesnar hasn't dominated anyone in such fashion since, and that truly speaks volumes of how meaningless this match was to WWE's creative team. A match that should've torn the house down as a weapon-laced brawl made WWE Champ-to-be Ambrose look like he didn't belong in the ring with his opponent
