8. The Meta Powers Will Explode

Damien Sandow needs to get something out of all this nonsense. Surely he does, he's worked too damn hard over the last 6 months to fade back into jobscurity. The decision to job out The Meta Powers (which is a much better name than the Mega powers) to the Ascension was utterly baffling. Short of sucker-punching one of Triple H's children, I don't know what Sandow could have done to deserve such constant mistreatment. It's clear that Sandow should stop impersonating Randy Savage, firstly because Jay Lethal already did this schtick before, and better, on TNA; and second, it's imperative for Sandow's long term career that the fans get behind him as an athlete as well as a comedian. But WWE never met a dead horse it didn't think could do with a once over, and since it's clear that the Meta Powers cannot be long for this world, (losing their first match to a team that ritually jobs for others is no stamp of approval) so why not at least tie this whole mess off with some narrative consistency? They already aped the Mega Powers' formation handshake, expect the WWE to have the Meta Powers explode. On RAW, Macho Man could become an item with, say, Layla (E-layla-beth), Curtis Axel can move in, Mandow could snap and challenge Axel to a match at Elimination Chamber. Cue WWE recycling all the spots from the main event of Wrestlemania 5. It's something at least.
