8 WWE Predictions For Elimination Chamber After Payback
6. Ryback vs Wyatt 2.0
WWE Creative's formula for how to book a Bray Wyatt feud is simple: have him fight the same people over and over again, with a variety of stipulations, letting The Eater of Worlds deliver endless cryptic promos to give the illusion that a storyline is happening. It 'worked' with John Cena, Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, The Undertaker and, as much as it's harming Wyatt's character, don't expect that formula to change. With Wyatt picking up a win by nefarious means (crunching Ryback's ribs into an exposed turnbuckle), the WWE is likely to book a simple rematch for Elimination Chamber, possibly with the addition of a No-DQ stipulation to prevent further rule-breaking shenanigans. There have been rumours circulating online that Ryback was legitimately injured during their Payback bout, Wyatt breaking one the Big Guy's ribs with his running senton from the ring apron. However, this hasn't been confirmed and should be seen as unlikely, considering that moments later Ryback performed a splash from the top rope. Surely, he wouldn't be dumb enough to do that with a broken rib... would he ...?
