If asked to predict which superstar from WWE's 'New Generation' would still be hitting them out the park in 2018, it's unlikely most beyond the smokiest of student dorms would have plumped for former pirate Jean-Pierre Lafitte.

Six years after seemingly bowing out of the industry following defeat at the hands of Nigel McGuinness, Pierre Carl Oullet fished out his aviators in 2016 for one of wrestling's most unlikely comebacks.

Earlier this year, at the ripe old age of 50, PCO shared a spectacular, bruising contest opposite Austrian juggernaut WALTER, as he quickly became the greatest thing you never knew you wanted. His first run has always been underrated - he was a pirate, for crying out loud - but against all logical considerations, his South Asian summer has been, bafflingly, even better.
