8 WWE Segments That Sucked The Life Out Of Fans

3. Jim Ross & Michael Cole Have A Rap Battle

Jim Ross is one of the greatest wrestling announcers of all time, but he's not going to worry Snoop Dog or Eminem any time soon. Ross can tell in-depth stories that really sell wrestling characters, yet he can't string together rhymes that would make Dr. Dre's head nod. Imagine that.

Whomever thought booking a rap battle between JR and Michael Cole in 2011 was a good idea needs a psychiatric appointment immediately. The Slammy Award episodes of Raw are regularly light-hearted, but this was just painful to watch and couldn't even raise a titter from the live crowd. Ross and Cole sucked here, there's no getting away from that.

They're not the ones to blame though, some WWE creative type scripted this drivel. Not only was this embarrassing for Jim Ross (Cole could get away with it, because heels can do anything in wrestling), it just failed to achieve anything worthwhile. Stick to selling BBQ sauce, Jim.
