8 WWE Stars Who Will Never Be World Champion

Mojo Rawley's WWE career looked set for a reboot earlier this year after he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33. The whole ex-footballer thing was put front-and-centre, and it helped give him a distinguishing factor in an ocean of up-and-coming talent, many of whom - unlike Mojo - arrived ready-equipped with fans who followed their indie careers.

But since then we haven't seen Mojo do anything meaningful, and if WWE were serious about pushing him to the main event you would expect them to be involving him in a solid mid-card feud by now - not just leaving him in the wings.

Whilst he's still very young in wrestling terms, there's reason to fear that the company promoted him to the main roster last year merely to make up the numbers.
