8 WWE Superstars Who Are Miscast In Their Current Roles

4. Charlotte Flair

Similar to her dad, Charlotte Flair is much more comfortable as a heel than as a babyface. That has been the case throughout her entire wrestling career: she was boring as a face in NXT, when she got called up to the main roster in the summer of 2015, and even now.

Fans have come to respect Charlotte and everything she's accomplished up to this point, which is why she gets cheered, but she hasn't cut a memorable promo since signing with SmackDown Live back in April. Compare that to one year ago when, next to The Miz, she was arguably the strongest mic worker in the entire company.

Charlotte had a knack as a heel for dressing down her opponent and playing up how she is essentially wrestling royalty. The robes she wore made her extra detestable and being an elitist just came easy to her.

Granted, SmackDown has their fair share of heels right now, but none of them hold a candle to what Charlotte can do in the role. That might explain why she's been such an afterthought on the blue brand in 2017, but an eventual heel turn would undoubtedly lead her to her first SmackDown Women's Championship.
