8 WWE Superstars Who Are Miscast In Their Current Roles

3. Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks was a fantastic foil for the aforementioned Charlotte Flair during their iconic rivalry in the second half of 2016 over the Raw Women's Championship, but beyond that, she has never made for that great of a babyface on the main roster.

It should be noted that WWE turned her face in the first place because fans were chanting "We want Sasha!" during her absence from programming at the onset of 2016. She moves more merchandise than most of the women and plays the babyface role well, but she has barely scratched the surface in terms of what she's truly capable of.

Look no further than her stint in NXT, where she debuted as a generic face and eventually transformed into 'The Boss'. Every little thing she did was an attempt to generate heat, such as stomping on Bayley's injured hand during their TakeOver: Brooklyn bout or making a little girl in the audience legitimately cry.

We didn't see that side of Sasha when she showed up on the main roster in the summer of 2015 because she was overshadowed by the faction wars happening at the time, but returning to her roots would certainly freshen up her stale persona.
