8 WWE Survivor Series 2018 Nightmares That Could Come True

3. There's No Tangible Prize For The Winning Brand

Raw Vs SmackDown

Nightmare: In 2017, both Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon led their respective brands into battle with the promise of proving their superiority. In the end, Raw won. Whoop-de-dos, high-fives all round and smiles were the order of the day.

That was it. That was all that happened, and there wasn't any tangible reward for beating SmackDown. Survivor Series 2018 will be the same if there's no prize to fight for.

Chances Of It Coming True: Almost guaranteed unless WWE have a surprise up their sleeves on the Kickoff show. Given the fact those hour-long hype sprints have become expendable, nobody should hold their breath that there's a twist in the tale.

Come the end of this year's show, one brand will stand tall, brag about it and then things will go back to normal. This will be especially depressing if calling SmackDown the 'B show' becomes a regular part of Raw's tactics. It's hardly thrilling TV at this point.
