Big Show's sole Intercontinental Championship reign was even less memorable than Punk's. Show won the title at WrestleMania XXVIII by defeating Cody Rhodes, vanquishing the ghosts of WrestleMania past in the process. Show was IC Champ for less than a month, dropping the title back to Cody at Extreme Rules in a tables match.

In true Big Show style, the 'World's Largest Athlete' had turned heel by October of that same year. On 28 October 2012, just two weeks short of the 10 year anniversary of his last world title, Show defeated Sheamus to become the World Heavyweight Champion.

The match was surprisingly great, both men kicking out of each other's finishers before Show caught the 'Celtic Warrior' with another WMD. Show was world champion once again, and by this point his 28 day reign as Intercontinental Champion earlier in the year was already forgotten.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
