7. Papa Shango

There used to be no simpler way to tell if a wrestler was "from another world" before they even stepped foot onto the entrance ramp than by simply listening to the ring announcer. If you heard the words "Parts Unknown," then you knew you were in for a weird, mystical treat.

Before the world knew him as The Godfather, Charles Wright played a character that was somehow more ridiculous than his portrayal of the neon-obsessed pimp. Papa Shango was your classic mystic, a voodoo master who painted his face like a skull and wearing a necklace made from assorted bones.

Shango's powers were more implied than anything, as he mostly just stood on the entrance ramp and performed curses on wrestlers who were currently in the ring. He'd shake his whole body as smoke bellowed from somewhere below him, and the person receiving his curse would start to convulse and/or have various appendages suddenly start on fire, which was, admittedly, a pretty nifty parlor trick.

His most famous curse involved The Ultimate Warrior, who vomited while a mysterious black goop oozed out of his head.
