8. The Boogeyman

Despite entering the WWE with some of the creepiest vignettes ever recorded, which included him terrifying small children while crawling out of a closet engulfed in smoke and asking the horrified little people "Do you know ME??", ol' Boogs eventually became an unintentionally hilarious gimmick.

His backstory proclaimed him to be a magical monster sent from the underworld to terrorize and torment everyone in the business, though it was never specified why his only real powers seemed to be smashing alarm clocks over his head and eating earthworms with the zeal of a child on Halloween.

The Boogeyman did, however, share at least one trait with another famous ghostly creature, as he was known to appear anytime someone said his name a la Betelgeuse. He also had a superhuman ability to eat engorged moles off people's faces. So...again, not exactly the most supernatural guy.

Regardless, anyone who spends that much time with worms crawling out of his mouth is not entirely of this world.
