8. Chelsea Green's Affair

Harsh, but fair. Chelsea Green's time in WWE was defined by injuries, and you don't need to be a fan to understand how frustrating that is. A fabulously talented performer, Green was under contract with WWE for more than two and a half years but had a grand total of 11 televised matches. Two of those were on Main Event, one was a Royal Rumble, six were on NXT TV. Do the maths and you'll see that amounts to two RAW/SmackDown matches in 31 months.

You aren't going to find any highlights in there. Green broke her wrist in her one SmackDown match, lost to Charlotte in five minutes on RAW. She did win a number one contender's match in NXT, but the title match itself happened on a house show. There really isn't a lot to hang a hat on there.

With that in mind, the highlight of Chelsea Green's WWE career remains a pretty terrible cameo back in 2014 when she appeared on RAW as 'Megan Miller', a physical therapist that supposedly had an affair with Daniel Bryan. It was car-crash TV, but it still beats breaking your wrist on TV.

Saying that, she did get engaged to Matt Cardona during her WWE run so that probably takes the cake. Congrats!

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
