This year's marquee MITB briefcase match was fairly solid. There were plenty of chances for each wrestler to showcase themselves, hitting their big moves to the delight of the crowd. It lacked a little in death-defying stunts but that's probably a good thing.

Not sure how many were calling a Sheamus win but that came out of left field for those of us who thought that Roman was getting the briefcase on a silver platter.

Sheamus isn't a bad choice. In fact, WWE could always use some top-level heels and the Irishman easily fills those shoes. But why Sheamus? Does WWE believe he still has what it takes to have another run at the top?

While not set to release until June of 2016, perhaps WWE is thinking of inserting Sheamus into the Championship fold prior to when the second Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie hits theaters. Maybe WWE thinks Rocksteady could be the next Drax the Destroyer and fears that they'll miss out on that cash cow?
