Normally Bray Wyatt will at least give his target the courtesy of a month or so of cryptic backstage promos before he attacks but poor Roman Reigns got ambushed during the MITB contract ladder match.
Reigns seemed like the obvious choice to win Money in the Bank so it was a shocker when the lights went out in what could have been his final ascent to grab that briefcase. Bray administered the Sister Abigail and the giddy Columbus crowd rejoiced.
This is a big 'win' for Bray because Roman Reigns is one of the top stars in the company. Other than a short feud with Ryback, Wyatt hasn't done much of anything since his loss to Undertaker at WrestleMania. This appears to be the beginnings of a meaningful feud.
With so little divulged at this point there are many questions for The Eater of Worlds. Why was Roman targeted? And why not let him win? If you're going to wrestle someone, at least leave open the possibility that it could be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
