While many are speculating that Dean Ambrose or Roman Reigns could join the Authority, there is the possibility that neither will take the bait. Vince McMahon reportedly is apprehensive about turning Reigns heel. Ambrose is one of the true babyfaces (by crowd reaction) in the upper card, and his persona just doesnt make sense from a storyline point (not that thats mattered before). Triple H has bragged before about always having a Plan B, so you have to imagine that he has an ace up his sleeve if their first option isnt available. Of course, the best possible option if the Authority is looking for a Plan B would be to bring Sheamus into the fold and have him cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase after the title match is over. The Celtic Warrior has held the briefcase for the past five months with only a couple teased cash-ins, but he hasnt really been viewed as much of a threat. Part of that is due to fellow heel Seth Rollins being world champion, so having a face Ambrose or Reigns as champ makes it a lot easier to have Sheamus cash in. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmscEbsTCas If WWE is looking for a shock ending and a way to keep the title with the Authority without having Reigns or Ambrose turn heel, then this would accomplish those goals. While this isnt a likely scenario, it still remains a possibility.
