9 Early Predictions For TNA Bound For Glory 2017
5. Adam Cole, Johnny Mundo, Cage & Ryback Will All Be In The Company
It wouldn't be a year without TNA signing up some big name independent talent. 2016 has seen Moose, Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow make the jump among others, and regardless of their financial state 2017 promises much of the same. Guessing who those names will be is a tough game of course, but decent reasons for all the above can be formed.
Adam Cole is someone that seems to have been on WWE's radar for the longest time, yet the current ROH's World Champion's injury problems have seen him stay out of NXT so far. How long before the feet get a little too itchy and TNA come a-calling instead? In a way the same goes for Mundo. The prevailing assumption is that one day he'll return to WWE, but would he want that schedule again? I'd presume not.
As for Cage and Ryback, the latter is more likely than the former. Cage has carved a nice niche out for himself in the lucha world, whereas Ryback is the most 'former WWE star signs for TNA' individual I can think of. If Ryback doesn't feature for whatever becomes of TNA in 2017, I'll be shocked. Heck, give me Ryback and Cage as TNA Tag Team Champions.
