9 Early WWE Hall Of Fame 2017 Predictions

1. The Rock

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has managed to transcend merely being known as a professional wrestler. Johnson is one of the top grossing males in Hollywood, successfully crossing over into mainstream entertainment from a world (wrestling) often looked upon with a patronising glare. He'd be perfect for the WWE Hall Of Fame.

The McMahon family adore being associated with The Rock in any form or fashion, they realise just how big a star he has become outside of the WWE bubble. Being able to enter him into the Hall Of Fame would feel massive, especially in Johnson's residence of Florida.

Due to his celebrity power and status, The Rock would be able to choose who inducted him during the ceremony. His close relationship with mother Ata is well-documented, so she would be a great candidate.

Perhaps WWE could promote the induction alongside one final match at WrestleMania for 'The Great One'. Even if that stipulation isn't included, The Rock is a part-time attraction to WWE now, so he could still be honoured without complaint.
