Sara Del Rey, now known by her real name Sara Amato, is a woman who spent over a decade in the wrestling business before signing on with the WWE as a trainer. Over her career she won multiple championships in multiple promotions, and during her last year before signing on to train the WWE Divas of tomorrow (2012), she ranked #4 on PWIs list of the 50 Best Female Wrestlers and 430th in their Top 500 Wrestlers list. Thats pretty damn impressive, especially when you consider that was the year she stopped performing full time and became a trainer. That being said, what are the chances that the WWE brought in this accomplished womens wrestler over a decade into her career and still primed and ready to go, just to be a trainer? It wouldnt be surprising to see her involved in an angle at some point that allows her to step into the ring and perform again. Possibly an angle where one of her trainees gets in her face and acts like a spoiled brat? Or maybe an angle where one of her best students calls her out to help her defeat a pair of Divas? Whether its to put a bratty heel Divas in her place or to help out one of her favorite students, lets all agree that at 33 she likely still has what made her such a hot commodity on the independents, and has a run left in her. Dont be surprised if she makes a splash on the main roster or NXT in the next few years a la Goldust or the New Age Outlaws, and learn who she is now so you can seem smart when youre talking about how bad ass she is with your friends.
