Sasha Banks has a lot going for her right now on NXT. She was in danger of becoming the forgotten member of NXTs BFFs (Beautiful Fierce Females), but since Summer Rae was called up to the main roster and Charlotte ditched the group after winning the NXT Womens Championship, the self-proclaimed Boss (you have to imagine that during the attitude era shed be called the Boss B****) of NXT has really begun to shine, showing glimpses of just why shed make a great character for the main roster. At 22, Sasha Banks is great in the ring, on the mic and plays her character perfectly. Shes mean, she cuts deep with her words and shes all kinds of hood. Shes even inspired a movement within the NXT Universe, where they chant that Sashas Ratchet whenever she hits the ring. It could be construed as offensive but Sashas kind of embraced it, making it funny, especially her flat denial of being ratchet by wearing shirts that say Sashas Not Ratchet. Its honestly the closest the WWE has come to reflecting something that is actually relevant in popular culture today (in this case being the use of the word ratchet), so kudos to Sasha for helping them with that. If being a solid promo, proficient in the ring, absolutely top notch when it comes to portraying her character, and having the NXT live crowds fully engaged in her performances isnt enough to make you think that shes going to be a big somebody whenever shes called up to the main roster, let the fact that shes also the first cousin of Snoop Dogg sink in. If this is the first time youre hearing it, get ready to hear it a lot. Its a perfect characteristic for her to name drop Snoop once she gets to the main roster, and if she doesnt do it enough, you can be certain Michael Cole will. As said off the top, Sasha has a lot going for her.
