9 Hot Angles We Could See From WWE Money In The Bank 2014

2. Cesaro Almost Wins But Is Confronted By Brock Lesnar

WWE.comWWE.comIt seems strange we haven't discussed Cesaro yet, but that's almost an indicator of his standing in the WWE at the moment. That split from Jack Swagger never really kicked off the way it should, largely due to the WWE being undecided on which way to take his character. He's almost been left in limbo, and it's only the presence of Paul Heyman that has kept him going. And coincidentally, it could be the Paul Heyman factor that finally launches Cesaro into the big time. Let's not forget it's a year to the day since Heyman screwed CM Punk at Money in the Bank - so could the same be about to happen again? It would be awesome to see Cesaro get perilously close to climbing that ladder and claiming the WWE World Heavyweight Championship - before Brock Lesnar's music hits. The collision of two Paul Heyman "guys" is something that has been tried before with great success, so don't be surprised if the WWE roll with it again. It would leave Heyman making a difficult decision - although it would be all the more fascinating if Heyman screwed Cesaro - just like he did with Punk in 2013 - before Lesnar emerged to dismantle the Swiss Superman. That would cement a face turn for definite, and set up a superb feud with Lesnar. If anything is going to push Cesaro, it would be circumstances like those.
