8. Seth Rollins And Dean Ambrose's Rivalry Continuing
WWE.comAnyone else feel that the WWE may have missed a trick by putting Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose into this huge ladder match? It doesn't really seem like either of them would make good custodians of the briefcase - given how that is used to elevate someone up into main event status. Ambrose and Rollins are already top stars with the WWE, and they really don't need a briefcase to give them any more prestige than they have. All we can hope for is that Rollins and Ambrose get plenty of TV time during the match itself, and we see their enthralling rivalry continue beyond Money in the Bank. A series of matches between just the two of them would make for arguably the biggest feud of the year, and it would definitely be a rivalry the fans could buy into. There's always the potential for Ambrose to go in a direction we rarely see from anyone else (largely due to his crazy personality that comes with the character). And Rollins' recent track record on pay-per-view has been excellent, with him threatening to steal the spotlight during those Evolution vs. The Shield matches in recent months. There's no real issue with the two men being involved in the ladder match at Money in the Bank - so long as we see them get their own personal feud heading out of the show. That light needs to be left switched on at MITB.
