9 HUGE AEW Fyter Fest Predictions You Need To Know

6. Yuka Sakazaki Vs. Riho vs. Nyla Rose

The involvement of Japanese joshi wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling is very much down to Kenny Omega. In the man's own words, it has the potential to do for AEW what the original Cruiserweight division did for WCW, and success will give the nascent promotion a marketable niche that no other major company has on their books. That he has a professional relationship with most of the Japanese stars to appear so far helps as well, and we'll see Double Or Nothing competitors Yuka Sakazaki and Riho return at Fyter Fest.

Both made an impact in May, though it was Hikaru Shida (the six-person tag's only signed wrestler) who scored the decisive pinfall. Expect something similar here. These two bright young prospects will fly around and bump like crazy for Nyla Rose, who had her spotlight stolen by Awesome Kong at DON. Indeed, the former TNA Knockout's appearance was a crowd-popping surprise, but the 'Native Beast' is supposed to be the powerhouse of AEW's women's division and being forced to share a ring with an all-timer like Kong on her first night undermined that.

Rose will regain that ground on Saturday night. The match should be laid out around making her look monstrous, and while Sakazaki and Riho will pop the crowd, our prediction means their primary job will be doing their bit to ensure Nyla looks good. Whether or not she needs that help will hopefully be determined at Fyter Fest as well.

Winner: Nyla Rose.
