3. Fans Don't Want It
Seriously, who in the world is asking for this match to happen? More importantly, why it supposedly so important that it needs to happen on the Grandest Stage of Them All?
I feel confident in stating that not once since Shaq's WWE cameo at WrestleMania 32 has a single person (not contracted by WWE) lobbied for this match without at least the slightest hint of sarcasm. Big Show isn't the reason WWE fans watch WWE and Shaq isn't the reason NBA fans watch NBA - why on earth would both supporter groups both go out of their way to make sure they don't miss this pile of crap?
The vast majority of WrestleMania 33 viewers will undoubtedly be passionate wrestling fans, as is the case each year. Although it's a generalisation, it's safe to assume that those fans want to be treated to a professional wrestling showcase featuring the best of the best, not some one-off gimmick sideshow.
If this match becomes a reality, it will really ram home the point that WWE isn't all that interested in what the fans would prefer to see.
