9 HUGE WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Fall & Pray

Finn Bálor Karrion Kross
WWE

Karrion Kross has looked ready to return for a while.

The former NXT Champion's gym photos have revealed a man looking rather distanced from the dejected presence that had no choice but to give up the title just days after his win over Keith Lee. A surprise return on this show might well be that injection of flavour the event needs, and Kross may have a salient point alongside a spectacular entrance. Existing champion Finn Bálor hasn't defended the belt since TakeOver: 31, yet wasn't made to suffer the similar indignity of surrender.

Calling out Bálor could set up something amazing for 2021, but receiving The Demon would be even better. A Finn that's already aware of the challenge Kross presents is more intriguing than the prospect of 'The Prince' taking the stage and surveying the scene. The formal booking of the match can come in the intervening weeks, but the visual of the two characters separated only by that short CWC aisle would sell the next TakeOver by itself.
