Seth Rollins looked as though his life was being saved just by breathing in the Full Sail University air following his shocking appearance on the go-home edition of NXT.

An exhilarating final stretch concluded with Rollins and Tommaso Ciampa exchanging punches, suggesting that the the former NXT Heavyweight Champion will play a major role in the brand's Survivor Series team regardless of how WarGames works out for him and his partners.

Without considering the ramifications of the NXT team or the damage they could do, the Raw and SmackDown sides are fairly well balanced for a bunch of major spots before Rollins and Ricochet bring home the win for the red brand. This is a mathematical decision as much as anything else - if NXT are to win but not sweep the board, the Raw squad need a win at least to make things interesting.

Dissention between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin could result in them eliminating each other, whilst the contrasting sizes of Braun Strowman and Shorty G will surely be referenced en route to the last of the red brand lot seeing them off. This won't be the best match of the night, but the eventual NXT team scoring any pins at all will be very telling for their own individual futures.

Winner - Team Raw
