9 HUGE WWE TLC 2019: Tables, Ladders & Chairs Predictions You Need To Know

6. Rusev Vs. Bobby Lashley

What was the exact moment this angle flatlined after several absurd peaks?

Was it the arrest of Bobby Lashley and Lana for mostly f*ck all? Perhaps the on-screen divorced devised just to force a table into the mix as the fourth part of what had previously been a love triangle? Was it simply the match even existing? Rusev's been so well-received in his various run-ins that having him now be confined to a contest with a bell either side rather than a more fluid form of pro wrestling conflict feels like a backward step. But it won't be as long as he wins. The endless kissing, bizarre scripting and YouTube-baiting thumbnail-moments-made-real will all be worth it if he does.

In spite of everything you've just read, the angle has gotten him over huge, again. WWE mustn't blow yet another chance to get something special from their 'Bulgarian Brute'. Rusev Day is no longer celebrated, but it's about time his fans were given something more to celebrate.

Winner - Rusev
