Sami Callihan couldn't get a kick in a stampede during his brief run in World Wrestling Entertainment. Callihan was signed by in WWE in 2013, and before the end of the year he was working live events as Solomon Crowe, a man who seemed to be able to control the arena lights via a tablet.

Solomon Crowe was stuck on the live event circuit for over a year, and with each passing week enthusiasm was dropping for his eventual TV debut. Crowe chipped his tibia in August 2014, delaying his arrival further, and by this time WWE had gone all-in on signing independent standouts.

The novelty of Sami Callihan in a WWE ring had been drowned in a sea of Kevin Steens, El Genericos, Prince Devitts and KENTAs. He finally arrived on NXT TV in January 2015, but by that time the ball had already been dropped. Before the end of the year Callihan was released, where he returned to the independent scene.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
