As established earlier in this article, Steiner is not exactly a guy you want to have behind a wheel. Not only will he drive the wrong way down a one-way street when the light's on red (just to get to the gym two minutes faster), he'll also threaten and hit you if you inform him that an exit ramp is closed. This was the scenario on April 2nd 1998, when Steiner caused an incident which landed him in jail for ten days (as well as seven years probation). Steiner hit a Georgia Department of Transportation worker twice with his Ford pick-up truck when he was informed that he'd have to take an alternate route. The guy wasn't badly injured, but it was still insane behaviour by Steiner and he was charged. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and making terroristic threats but escaped a lengthy sentence since he was a first-time offender.
