In some fans eyes, The Miz nearly ruined the WWE Championship. People were confused as to why Miz held the title for 161 days, when a superior heel in CM Punk could have been a better option. Combined with the reality TV backlash (Miz famously channeled fans in a promo, €œYou Should Go Back To MTV!€) and terrible main event at Wrestlemania 27, it's safe to say those clamoring for Miz to remain champion were in the minority. Perhaps an underrated factor in all this was Michael Cole on commentary. As Miz€™s title reign progressed, he increasingly became more unbearable each week, as he championed Miz€™s merits to an erroneous level. Miz€™s last night as champion ended with an Attitude Adjustment off the top rope in a steel cage. For most fans, it ended long before that.
